#1 Safety continues to be ongoing concern. You will very soon see orange paint below Columbia on the wall designating the appropriate area for safe turning. Soon to be distributed for all, Safety "app" for your cell phone, designed for reporting any safety violations of concern to our Schuykill Navy Commodore. The reporting will be reviewed to collect data in order to determine items that may be trends that require addressing for the safety of all rowers.

#2 "DUCK WEED", or whatever the weeds are really named must be eradicated! Famous Al Wachlin has the tool , but needs our help. Please contact Al and volunteer some time to help eliminate this hazard.

#3 Volunteers: Launch drivers are always needed to help run regattas and each club is expected to donate one launch and a few drivers for the day. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, please let me know. I signed up for after my first race at 9:30,but need a sub for @ 2pm so I can get to my next race

#4 Thanks to all for a fun Memorial Day gathering. Kudos to Monica and all volunteers,thanks for all donations. The "Rooster" was won by Djorge in a close race with Kevin Monty ,Jacob,and Tom K. Congrats to the competitors for an exciting competition and keeping the tradition alive. Also, congrats to Prez and 1st Lady Maureen for a fantastic party last Saturday night. Wish you all the best .

#5 Finally, Best of Luck to all racers this weekend at SN Regatta. This is why you put the work in, bring home some hardware! I believe there are no boat conflicts, and everyone who wanted to race is boated. Special thanks to Coach Pat for stepping up and putting together line ups to compete. Let's make Coach proud!
