Wharton will be holding their annual double elimination 500m erging tournament on Saturday 2/25 at 10 AM at the boathouse, and would like to open the event up to any FRA members who want to compete. They will be adjusting raw times based on weight and age. Each person gets at least 10 minutes of rest between 500m rounds. Prizes will be awarded based on overall champ, 2nd place, 1st place woman, and fastest raw time.

Wharton will be providing food to grill and we ask that FRA members who want to compete contribute 10$.

Former FRA members Edna Bracken and Sean Drea along with seven other senior athletes from Old Collegians Boat Club in Dublin, Ireland will be in Philly to row in the 2016 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.

A reception will be held at FRA on Friday, October 28th beginning at 6:00pm.  This will include a catererd dinner from Cosmic Cafe at 7:00pm - all are welcome to attend. A contribution of $25 per person is asked to help to cover costs.
